I'm still alive. Being lazy as crap with BFM; however, I have been working on something spiffy! O:

It's an RPG forum for Oddworld. I'm not going to link it until it's ready to open, but it's got a lot of detail. You don't have to have played Stranger's Wrath or Munch's Oddysee to RP on it, but I recommend doing a bit of research. You can use the Oddworld Wiki, as well as The Oddworld Encyclopaedia.

It's mostly about Outlaws, bounty hunters, and the civilians, although you can roleplay a Mudokon or whomever. If you're interested in joining, start building a character. C:

Okay and as for BFM I will continue it. I just don't know when. Soon I hope.

Plotting for BFM and planning and writing Chapter Two. I've gotten some new ideas and I'm pleased to incorporate them! :D

I also made a character but she's still in development. Her name is Killa M'al and she's an Outlaw.

Okay uh. I learned that my dad's meds are going to cost a lot so it's likely we'll be moving into a trailer to pay for them. This is okay. I'mma be pissed but... it's okay. As long as my dad is okay.

If you can't tell I've begun Battle For Mudos. After months of planning. Heh. Anyway, look to see the next chapter within the next week or so. I think I'll upload a chapter a week if I can. That way I'll have time to write, play guitar, and do the other crapload of things I've made myself do. Har.

Also. I have Munch's Oddysee as well as Stranger's Wrath and am working through them. This means more ideas and hopefully better accuracy in my stories.

And I'll tell you - the games are SO FAMILIAR. It's like I've played them all before and crap. Thing is I can't remember how to beat it or anything because I've never played it. But I see stuff and go, "Have I been here before?" o_o;; And this is with both games. GOD I'm insane.

I'm still working on the chapter outlines for Battle For Mudos. It's taken forever so far. I'm only just finishing up chapter ten. These chapters are quite long compared to my others. I know it's going to be at least twenty chapters long - at least. There's two books to the story, and each of the prequels will be gone over in the story so I don't have to write them yet.

It's ..easier. Heh.

I'm thinkin' about goin' ahead and writing chapter one. I'm very excited about this and I hope my writing skills have improved. Vula's Oddysee, the first story, is a far cry from what it should have been. Now that everything's planned out, things will flow better.

I'mma start the Oddworld Tarot thing at the first of the year. Flash projects and all that (as I'm thinkin' about a dress-up game! LOL) will wait until I have a tablet. Don't ask when that will be; I don't know. I'll hunt one down in a thrift store.

Let's see.. working on character sketches for official profile pictures! :D I hope you'll like those. Since I don't have Photoshop it's back to Paint again, which I loathe. Unless I get it from a torrent thing, you won't see it.

Battle For Mudos.

ZOMGWHERESTORIES? I KNOW RITE? Okay. I've been thinking rather heavily on this one and I've discovered I can't get too far with Retrogression or Between a Rock and a hard Place. So What I'm going to do is this: I'm going to skip ahead to Battle For Mudos. And I'm going to introduce the characters as if I would in the prequels. At some point I will write the actual stories. But for now I'll probably include lots of flashbacks so you can get more acquainted with them. Right now, Battle For Mudos is in its chapter outlining stage, and once it's completed, I'll begin writing. So keep an eye out! :D

I'd say the chapter outlining will take me a few days to complete. The chapters are going to be long - longer than Vula's Oddysee and definitely longer than Gabby's Song - and I'm estimating, based on the massive amount of events and detail, that the story itself will be close to thirty chapters. If not more, that is. Definitely the longest story I've ever written.

Also. The Oddworld Flash Project is put on hold until I can buy a tablet. I'm brainstorming and working on storyboards and whatnot. The Oddworld Tarot Project I will begin on the first of January; I'm going to take this month to brainstorm and finish up some fanfics. Since the holidays are coming, I'm hoping to squeeze in some holiday funfare! 8D

Oh. Last month on guitar lessons. I hope I can finish Rock You Like a Hurricane before then.

-- Not intentionally! Unless you count insects. I only kill them if they're in the house and if it's a spider/roach, etc. If it's a praying mantis, a giant moth, or a bug I think is freaking awesome, I'll let it go outside.

-- I think it's a neat idea. But the clones should know they're not the original. Sad life, being a copy of someone else. I don't think we've the technology yet to clone entire bodies, but I don't mind stem cell research. To me, it isn't playing God. Haha. It can save lives.

-- Hmmm. Well, if I had more books, I'd read more. I do watch a lot of educational shows on The Travel Channel and the Discovery Channel.

-- I couldn't give you any perfect answer for that. I believe that anyone who inspires hope and courage and brings people to their feet. They don't have to do much - but if they can do that - they're a hero to me. Also, underdogs. If they start out as heroes and die that way, big deal. If they start out at the bottom and fight tooth and nail to get to the top, that's what I want to see.

Omg projects!

Edit: Changed the layout back to its original one. This one sort of grew on me, plus it's simple-looking and very easy to edit. Haha. The other layout took me almost two hours to locate and even get to show up. (Nov. 23, 2008)

I know I keep giving myself more projects than I know what to do with, but here's the current agenda:

The Daily Drag Website - currently under major construction and I'm in need of a co-anchor. It will include comic strips, flash files, voice clips, interviews, and updated news on Oddworld Inhabitants with a political twist - think The Daily Show and the Colbert Report for Oddworld. It is run by Lacy, the slig in the icon, and the co-anchor, well, who knows. If you're interested, let me know.

Oddworld Tarot Project - Currently in its brainstorming projects, I'm trying to get together a team of artists to collaborate and create an entire Tarot deck - strictly for online never going up for sale (unless Oddworld Inhabitants is cool with it xD). I've got a volunteer known as GlacierDragon, but I need a third before production can begin. No cards will be seen until all of them are finished.

The Internet is For Porn Flash Project - If you've ever seen this, you know what to expect. Crappily drawn, and crappily animated, with the original sound file as the backing. Except, I'd be using poorly rendered Oddworld characters. Use your imaginations and figure out who is who. You might be right.

Oddworld Weekly Webcomic - I plan to upload weird, weekly, three - four panel comics each week about, well, nothing. Featuring various Oddworldians, it will hopefully give you a few moments of amusement.

I've got a bit of free time so maybe this'll work. |D

Again, all this plus the fanfic project, wooooo, this will take me awhile. But keep on the lookout. I'm building up my art skills fast! >D

Gabby's Song! O:

First two chapters of Gabby's Song up! :3 I'm gonna do it one story at a time, I think. That way it'll be easier to focus. While I'm writing one story I'll brainstorm on the rest of the others, and hopefully that'll push everything along a bit faster.

I'm working on Chapter Three of Gabby's Song, although it's going slightly slower than I'd hoped. The story, not my progress. So it might be a chapter longer than I'd imagined. That's alright though. I usually let the stories write themselves so they work out better, I hope.

...uh. Just for fun I'm getting into the song It's The End of the World As We Know It by REM. I'm trying to memorize the lyrics.

Alrighty then! I'm getting very close to being done with chapter one of Retrogression and halfway through with Rock and a Hard Place. The reason is because I'm going slooow. I'm learning Rock You Like a Hurricane and it's taking up a good deal of my time and thoughts. I hope to finish at least one chapter one by the end of the week.

Did you know some spies store toolkits in their rectum? Hurrhurr. Sounds a bit uncomfortable. In fact, they store a lot of things in there. Eep. I guess it wouldn't be as bad as you think, and you get used to it, but wow. I imagine they've upgraded since ... well, since I learned this but hehe. That's funneh. :x

Seems like I'm taking forever to update, but in reality I'm working on three chapter ones at once. I'm trying to get all three of these stories going so things'll get better. I'm very excited for how this is going to turn out, but also very sad too, in some cases. The final story I'm actually dreading to write due to how everything's going to turn out. I've been getting big into drawing Gabbits lately. It's not done yet - I've got to finish the effects in Photoshop and whatnot. [3 Anyway, holy toast it's a girl gabbit!

It gave me an idea, as I've been looking for a final prequel story to add to my project, and this is it. Like seriously. I'm so happy. She doesn't have a name yet, but soon.

The synopsis is this: Caught by a fisherman as a gabbiwog, "Gabby" becomes his pet and best friend, far away from her home and life. But when she learns what she is, she sets out to find the rest of her kind.

So now there are four prequels:

Vula's Oddysee
A Rock and a Hard Place
Retrogression
and pending title Gabby's Song.

All of them will lead up to one last story that will bring everything together. [: This story is being planned. I'm hoping to completely finish by April or May 2009. Although I suspect it won't be that long.

I promised artwork, so here we go.

This is one of several slig OCs, named Drog. If you've read my fanfic Vula's Oddysee, you'll know him. Drog's kinda small for a slig, and kind of became a rebel.

I've got others, but I'll worry about them later.

My upcoming projects, other than guitar and the VO series, includes some Slog, Paramite, and Vykker practice. Once I can do those, it's moar Mudokon time. After that, then I'll get into better coloring and outlining/shading techniques, and graduate into OpenCanvas or Photoshop.

Since I've done my update for the day, I'm going to take a quick nap, as I'm quite tired.

This is the place where I blog about Oddworld-related whatnot, my plans for fan fiction, as well as fan art I've been working on. In order to avoid spoilers for this project I'll probably make some entries private. For the most part you'll see stuff - hopefully interesting stuff.

I've never gotten so much into fanfiction so it's hard to balance it with playing guitar. So most likely all my updates will be made at night, so my day can be spent on practice. So hopefully that will work, haha.

Now uh, I've got stuff I'm working on. Now, to give you a hint, Vula's Oddysee is actually one part of a much bigger story.

I'll update with some fan art in the next entry. o_O
